{Shop Local} Where in Durham is Waldo?

WaldoOh, he’s in lots of local businesses and libraries in Durham this month, thanks to co-presenters Sustain-a-Bull and the Regulator Bookshop. Starting today (and through all of July), when you spot a Waldo figurine hidden in a participating business you can collect special passport stamps and maybe win prizes! Collect enough stamps on your “Find Waldo in Durham” passport (20 or more) and you earn entry into the special prize drawings at the end of the month long hunt.

Here’s how it works. First, pick up your “Find Waldo in Durham” passport at Regulator Books on Ninth Street today (or download one here). Then visit any of the participating businesses or organizations and find that Waldo to get your passport stamped (or signed). The first 100 Waldo-seekers to collect ten or more passports stamps (or signatures) can bring their passports to the Regulator Bookshop to collect prizes. If you gather 20+ store stamps or signatures you gain entry in prize drawings at the wrap party on July 31, where you could win Waldo books, gift certificates to local stores, t-shirts, or the grand prize – a $100 Visa Gift Card courtesy of the Durham News.
